Outstanding food, outstanding service. My husband and I have been looking for a new breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Temecula and have driven by Patsy's a thousand times. Finally stopped in yesterday and I'm so glad we did. It looks like a cute little southern kitchen inside, and although it's not a huge restaurant--the menu sure is! They had so many great breakfast and lunch options. I got the Mexican skillet with chorizo and a banana nut pancake--absolutely DELICIOUS and very fresh! My husband got the Chile Verde Omelette with a massive side of biscuits and gravy and he loved it. The portions are perfectly sized and the pricing is great. We ate everything on our plates. The service was also excellent. Our drinks were kept refilled at all times and we had several waitresses stop to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We definitely look for to our next visit.
I didn't even know this place existed until my friend told me about. The menudo is amazing. Best part it's served 7 days a week. It's tasty, full of meat and the broth is not watery. You can also get pata with your menudo. I've also tried their chili verde omelette which is also great. Super tasty and super filling. Coffee is excellent and so is the service. The prices are not outrageous and if I'm honest it's cheaper than the other breakfast joints around town which is a big plus. Patsys it's my new fav mom and pop to grab breakfast. It's definitely a must try.
We love this place. While waiting for our car to be repaired, we decided to stop by here for breakfast. Walking in, the staff greeted us a good morning. The diner was warm & inviting. We sat & studied the menu since it was our first time. Placing our orders, our waitress gave us a bit of history of the diner. Donna was so sweet! Food arrived & it was a lot! Couple of omelettes w/ extra stuff. Impressive and very delicious We will definitely be back to try lunch goodies!
First time here and loved the Chile verde burrito . Five stars plus , Lucas was so great and even did a magic trick for our 7 year old !!! Will come back soon
Wow! I don't know why I never tried this restaurant until recently. It was an early Saturday, like 7:00. I was hungry from just returning from the airport. Patsy's was open, so I thought I'd give it a try. The friendly waitress greeted me with a large hot coffee, just what I needed. The place was clean, had a nice homey atmosphere . I wasn't starving but I needed to eat, so she suggested the half biscuits and gravy plate with two eggs. When I got my plate,, it was gigantic! So much was left that I took most of it home for the next day. The sausage gravy was creamy and full of sausage, the biscuits were old fashioned and moist, full of flavor. That breakfast did not disappoint. I will return.
This time I had a late breakfast and my hubby had the cheeseburger. The home fries with my eggs were scorched, the patty was overcooked as well. I do not recommend the biscuit as it is more of a crumbly bread, doesn't taste like a biscuit. The cheeseburger plate was fine, the onion rings greasy though. We still like this place and service was prompt today and friendly.
My brother and sister drove up to Temecula and we met for breakfast at this restaurant, which we had never been to before. It looks like its been around for the past 10 years. Shame on me for being a creature of habit and not trying them out! I am glad I decided to look on Yelp for an alternate to the usual spot we meet up at when they make the trip. They both agreed afterwards. Outside of being near the cluster of an intersection (Jefferson and Winchester) I have NOTHING bad to say about Patsy's. From the decor, cleanliness, great service and excellent breakfast foods we indulged in! MY brother ordered the Machaca & Eggs plate and my sister ordered the Club Sandwich w/ Fries (albeit it was not lunchtime yet). I was curious how the Menudo would taste, as it is one of my favorite soups when done properly. Our waitress sold it when she described how good it was, so I rolled the dice. And ordered a bowl. She then asked if I wanted a side of boiled pigs feet to go with it, as not many people are inclined to add that (at no extra cost I might add); so I did, as it had been decades since I have had any and that was with my dear departed father (although he preferred pickled pigs feet). This menudo (red, by the way, not white) was one of the top 3, maybe even #1, that I have ever eaten; and I have eaten menudo dozens of times over the years, at dozens of restaurants. However, those other restaurants were mainly Mexican eateries and this place is not considered a Mexican restaurant, yet they do offer several traditionally Mexican dishes (as my brother ordered the Machaca). This was a HUGE bowl, filled with goodness! Every spoonful would come up with a piece of tripe or veal knuckle, along with the hominy! I could not believe how much meaty goodness was in this soup! And the flavor of the broth was very delicious, yum! We all enjoyed our selections. There was so much food that we all took home half our orders for later enjoyment. I had another bowl of menudo for the next morning. Although I don't actually go out very often for breakfast I believe I have found my new spot henceforth, when I do! I forgot to mention that the boiled pigs feet pieces were very gelatinous and tasted good.
Service: GREAT! Price: RIDICULOUS REASONABLE!! Food: FANTASTIC!! Lucas was a pleasure! I'm so glad we found this place. The hubby had the chicken fried steak and eggs. I had the eggs Benedict. Both items were so good. We rolled out of Patsy's full and happy!
Went to patsy's again and I've tried their pancakes before and they're really gross, so I figured I would try their waffles, and holy moly are their waffles amazing! I made it healthier by only adding blackberry jam instead of butter and syrup and the waffles were so fluffy and soft! I LOVED it! Could only eat half as my stomach got a little smaller than last time we ate here, but I recommend the waffles! The eggs are so good that they don't need any condiments.
I was excited to try Patsy's after reading reviews on Yelp. And the food didn't disappoint. We ordered: For the hubby: country fried steak with poached eggs, extra crispy hash browns, and a pancake - this was a hearty dish. The eggs were poached perfectly, the hash browns were crispy as ordered, the pancake was fluffy. For me: menudo with corn tortillas and the trotter on the side - this was a surprise. I like tripe and hominy but never had a menudo; now I wish I had started to eat this dish sooner. The menudo was delicious! The tripe didn't have the distinct organ-y taste and I enjoyed this dish a lot. The trotter was yummy too! We arrived closer to 1 pm coz we wanted to beat the crowds. True enough, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The hostess was great so no complaints on that. Our server, however, was quite the opposite. She seemed out of it -- she forgot part of our order so we had to ask another person. We had to them follow-up about it after 10 minutes. The place had kitschy decorations, felt homey, and you can tell that it's a local find. Would I return? For the food, it's a no-brainer. For the service, I'd have to make sure that I'm seated in another section with hopefully a better server.
